Job Descriptions
Schneider Energy Services offers a wide variety of positions throughout our company. Below is a list of the positions with a basic description of each position.
Roustabout
Working as a Roustabout at Schneider Energy, you are responsible for general oilfield construction. Roustabout crews assist in the set-up and tear down of oilfield equipment, as well as ongoing maintenance of equipment and sites.
Flowback
Working in the Flowback Department, at Schneider Energy, you are responsible for monitoring and gauging fluid on newly completed oil wells. Our Flowback department operates 24 hours a day allowing us to offer varying schedules within this group.
Swab Rig
Working on the Swab Rig at Schneider Energy, you are responsible for participating in “rigging up” the rig, connecting cable to the swab and monitoring performance of the rig. You are also responsible for the upkeep of the rig, dog house, and truck.
Pumper/Operator
Working as a Pumper at Schneider Energy, you are responsible for preserving safety and the environment, by cost effectively maximizing and tracking the production of oil and gas wells. A Pumper must also utilize mechanical skills to keep production equipment in sound working condition. The housekeeping of well sites through the life of the well is generally the responsibility of the Pumper.
Anchor Truck
Working on Schneider Energy’s Anchor Truck you are responsible for safely installing underground anchor systems used to support oil well servicing equipment. After the oil well has been serviced, the anchors are removed from location.
Valve Shop
Working in Schneider Energy’s Valve Shop you are responsible for safely delivering valves to worksites and retrieving valves from worksites once work is complete. After valves return to the shop the valves must be tested and rebuilt as needed.
Fleet Mechanic
Working as a mechanic in our fleet department at Schneider Energy, you are responsible for the repair and maintenance on our fleet of over 100 trucks. Our mechanics provide both in house and field maintenance and repairs on our equipment as needed.
